Brunch: Traveler's Table

Traveler's Table opened in the fall of 2019 and has remained one of Houston's top-rated dining locations. Recently, My husband and I along with some friends were FINALLY able to secure brunch reservations. Let me tell you, IT'S ALL THAT IT'S HYPED UP TO BE!

Traveler's Table Menu

Global decor at Traveler's Table in Houston, TX.

The restaurant's global decor and open kitchen were the perfect backdrop as we waited for our food to arrive. Floor-to-ceiling windows welcome lots of natural light and offer a great view of the patio and stylish foodies enjoying well-plated meals.

So, what about the food? I have one word...Perfection! The team at Traveler's Table set out to bring the flavors of the world to its guests. The menu options were reflective of various cultures and the cocktails were as fun to read as they were pretty.

Here's what we ordered:

-Ube Pancakes with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs

-Korean "Sticky" Rib Fried Rice

-Lamb Shakshuka

-Traveler's Table Breakfast Board

-Rosewater Panna Cotta (dessert)

Cocktails:

-Margarita Flight

-A Sunny Place for Shady People

We were very pleased with the presentation and taste of every dish we ordered! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly throughout our dining experience and shared great recommendations for brunch and dinner. As we waited for our meal, the Pork Belly Breakfast Bao was served at a table nearby. I think I'll be ordering that on my next brunch visit. A couple of friends also told me that "International Oyster Night" is a must!
